Job Duties: 

·         Plan, coordinate, oversee, manage, and assess the activities of the personnel or human resources departments.

·         Plan needs for human resources in collaboration with other department managers.

·         Coordinate hiring and training initiatives both within and externally.

·         Create and execute labor relations guidelines and protocols and engage in collective bargaining negotiations.

·         Oversee language instruction, employee development, and health and safety initiatives.

·         Provide guidance and support to fellow department managers regarding the administration and interpretation of personnel policies and initiatives.

·         Oversee the rating and classification of professions.

·         Arrange and carry out informational meetings for employees regarding employment policies, benefits, and pay. Additionally, take an active role in a number of joint committees.

·         Oversee the company's quality control program.

·         Make sure laws like the Pay Equity Act are followed.

Education & Experience Requirement: 

·         Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Completion of bachelor’s degree or professional development program in the field it required.

·         1 year or more experience in the field is required.
