Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Follow established recipes and techniques to maintain consistency in flavor and appearance.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring freshness of ingredients.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the menu and attract new customers.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a South Indian restaurant or similar setting.
• In-depth knowledge of South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  
  

  Transportation: Valid driver's license required after settling , Public transportation also available

  Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of standing, walking, standing for extended periods, overtime required, large workload.

  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  Pay: $29.00 per hour

  Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
