Job Description

Job duties:

• Oversee the safety of my child in your care.
• Assist my child with personal tasks such as: eating, dressing and using washroom.
• Introduce my child to activities and toys aimed at physical and cognitive development.
• Develop an effective cleaning plan to ensure all of the interactive areas are sanitary and safe.
• Manage my child’s social, emotional and physical needs.
• Develop and monitor schedules to ensure that my child have enough rest, physical activity, and playtime.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Observe and report any significant behavioural patterns to parents.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and keep all meal, nap and activity areas clean and well-organized.

Work hours:         35 - 40 hours a week

 

Wage:                   $20.00 per hour

 

Day off:                 Saturday & Sunday

 

Benefit:                 3 days paid personal leave / sick leave

 

Education:            High school graduated or equivalent

 

Work experience:  Minimum one year of work experience in childcare

 

Language:              English
