Location: Toronto and Markham, Ontario – Cleaning services required at two current residences located within the region

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $36.00 per hour

Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Light Duty Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and organization at two private residential properties. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing cleaning tasks across multiple locations, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and tidiness in each home.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·       Travel between two designated residences daily to perform cleaning tasks

·       Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and hallways

·       Clean and disinfect bathrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs

·       Wipe down and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cabinetry, and household appliances

·       Make beds and replace linens as required

·       Collect and dispose of household garbage and recycling

·       Dust furniture, decorative items, baseboards, and windowsills

·       Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and switches

·       Periodically clean windows and mirrors as directed

·       Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the employer

·       Assist with organizing and maintaining household supplies

Requirements:

• No formal education required
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, as daily travel between properties is required.
• Prior experience in residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be comfortable working around family members.
