Job Description

Location:           West Vancouver, British Columbia, V7S 3E9

Work hours:      30 -40 hours a week

Benefit:              5 days paid personal days / sick leave

Job duties:

·        Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

·        Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

·        Take children to and from school and to after school activities.

·        Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

·        Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

·        Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the family’s dietary guidelines.

·        Encourge children to complete chores and take responsibility for their belongings and personal space.

·        Help children develop coping skills and good manners.

·        Offer emotional support and be a companion for the children.

Job requirements:

·        Proven relevant work experience as a caregiver.

·        Completion of caregiverV7S 3E9 program is an asset.

·        High school graduated or equivalent.

·        Proficiency in English.
