Job description:Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and comfort for our clients.DutiesAssist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.Administer medication reminders and support clients with their prescribed health routines.Offer specialized care for individual with disabilities.Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.QualificationsPrevious experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility.Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.Ability to work independently while following care plans set by healthcare professionals.Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between client homes.Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is advantageous.Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
